I suggest you start by pulling the MB out and powering it up on the bench. I normally fire up a new MB with nothing but a video card, keyboard, and one memory module. You could have something shorted inside the case under the MB, perhaps the fit wasn't as perfect as you thought.

If that's not the issue, the next step would be trying a different P/S, perhaps the one from the computer you're using now?
