hi,

try removing battery and AC adapter then press power ON button for 30 secs atleast. attach battery and plug in AC adapter and power ON as normal.

EDIT:
if the above does not improve anything, strip the laptop down to just keyboard, LCD and motherboard (remove hard drive, CD drive, wifi card and RAM modules) then power ON. obviously this will end in error but what we are after is good start up (POST).
