Does anybody have useful software tools to recomend to me? My Emachines W4605 Is acting very sluggish and slow and error riddled.

It takes about 8 mins to boot, that's insane. Also it takes forever to open a program. Can anyone reccomend to me some free downloadable software to help me fix my slow Laptop? Please Help!
