So you think the HP is the best choice? Like you said the big screen will cut battery life, but it will probably help out in the CAd department between the big screen and good gfx card, like you said. Thanks for your input.

For proper support: what are you running? graphics, cpu, m/board, ram, PSU brand wattage
PCI-E requires 26 amps at 12 volts. That's a 650W PSU.
