hi.

looks like the AC adapter is not giving out the correct power to charge the battery and boot the laptop simultaneously. check the AC adapter output if it is giving out the correct voltages.

this can happen if the AC adapter is NOT the genuine adapter that came with the laptop. it can also be genuine but a malfunctioning adapter. either way, try replacing with a known working genuine adapter (borrow from a friend) for testing purposes.
