I disabled the system restart upon error option, this allowed me to see the blue screen that was flickering. It's a stop error screen, giving 0x0000007b(0xF7c88524, 0xc0000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000) as the stop error. After reading through microsoft's support page, with respect to 0x0000007b stop errors, I still have no idea why the computer will not boot.

After some more research, it appears using an SDHC card with a non-compatible reader will freeze a computer real nice-like. But why wont the darn thing boot back up? If any drivers became corrupted, will I be able to use my xp install cd to repair them?
