Dai, i assumed a phoenix beep code. I did swap out mem cards. Checked them again and I had caught a wire and the upper part of the mem stick was not seated. I seated it and the computer would not even turn on. I took it out and the computer came right up! Thanks man!! Thats what i get for not being thorough. (out of navy electronics too long!). anyway, pwer line caught up is fine, no kink and no open insulation. Just cant understand the mem stick cutting out all the pwer. Maybe I still didnt have it inserted correctly. Oh well, will by upgrades of ram and install. Thanks again. Will start a new post about power supplies!!
