My best suggestion is for you to replace that drive with a new one, then reinstall Windows.
If you don't have your Windows disc, you could get Acronis backup software, and copy the old drive over to the new one.(cloning the drive)
The new one would then run just as if it were the old drive. All settings, programs, etc.
Acronis True Image 11.0 is $33 for the download version at Newegg.
If you decide to go that route, I can give you a walkthrough on using Acronis.
It only takes a few mouse clicks to clone the drive.
