The part in the middle of the quote tells me to restart, and make sure any new hardware is properly installed. Problem is, I can't even restart in safe mode to check that. It also talks about disabling BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing.

My brother just installed his printer to the computer, I wish I knew why because he didn't need to, but it seems to be the only anomaly in the computer's processes for the day. I only played some Football Manager and my sister did some homework the day before all this started.

case I reformated the hard drive and started over with a new install..
all is well now after several months of constant use..hope this helps..
