I am in need of some help still. My computer will not install it's updates, and when I want it to install it comes up with an error report that says "E: dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run "dpkg -- configure -a" to correct the problem. E:_cache->open() failed, please report". It is now also starting to run a bit slower. There is no scanning program on my computer, as far as I know. And also the Pidgin Internet Messenger is starting to not sign me in anymore. I am starting to worry about what to do, seeing as nothing I try is working. I would really appreciate any type of help I can get.
