my friend gave me a 512mb card. I for the first time removed my old 256mb card and replaced with the 512mb thinking it be a sinch which it was. i was lazy to connect everything back together so i waited for the next day which is today. So i connected everything and now my computer does not turn on. There is a back light that turns on although it flickers but i can't remember if it did that before or not. Any who the light flickers and when i get really close to it, it makes a very low almost not noticeable clicking sound. and thats the only life form i am getting. I disconnected the computer removed the 512mb card and again still nothing. i replaced and nothing. could this be a power supply problem. the back light does turn on but thats it not my computer. did i fry my motherboard? what may have caused this it was working fine before i put the card in.
