Ok, i dont normally rock the whole vista os. I prefer xp.. but im at work right now working on a vista machine, attempting to fix it. As of right now its a dell dimension E520 and right after post it restarts. I cant boot into ERD for i get a BSD(stop code is 0x07B). I cant get into safe mode or any of that. I am however able to boot to a new diagnostics thing that i havent seen on dell before, it tests everything on the system. I ran that a few times, but it freezes in the middle of the test forcing me to restart the computer and restart the test all over again. So i tried that 2 or 3 times but with the freezing i decided to give up. I've run out of idea, the shop doesnt have any Vista cd's to boot to to run repair install or just to even check if the MBR is working how it should. We backed up the harddrive and have been messing around with the backup version trying to figure it out. As of now, im just drawing a blank on what to do.

Any help would be appreciated.
