Hi all,
I've had my computer (specs below) for under 6 months, although it isn't brand new it came from a friend, and have been using it daily for all kinds of things, but nothing special (internet, games, videos, movies, work). It's always worked fine with no problems whatsoever until yesterday, when upon switching on I was confronted with the following:

"Error:

CPU Fan Failed. Press F2 to continue to boot. Otherwise, the system will power
down in five seconds. Have system serviced immediately."

Since my knowledge of hardware and troubleshooting is nil, I decided to leave it be for a while, but nothing happened, so i turned it off and back on again, after which it has continued to work fine since.

I'd rather not have to get my computer serviced, so I decided to do a bit of research into it, leading me onto CPU Overheating. So far it's all been pretty grim reading, so I'm just wondering if I actually have anything to worry about.

I've got an AMD Athlon64 Processor 3000+ 2.01 Ghz with Win Xp SP 2.

I've checked my current CPU Temperature with the BIOS menu and the results were:

CPU Fan Speed: 3054RPM
System Fan Speed: 1250RPM
CPU Temp: 45C/113F

Does this sound about right or is there anything I should be worrying about? My concern remains because I have noticed a reddish warning light at the back of my PC always being on that, to the best of my memory only appeared after my CPU Fan Failure message.
