what is going on?
I have a Inspiron 1501. When I purchased it directly from Dell I was told it had a ATI Radeon integrated Xpress 1150 graphics card. Well, not really a card since it is integrated but you ge the point. Anyway, that is also how it was listed in the Device Manager on Vista as well. Well, I just did a fresh install of Vista on my laptop because, well its Windows, need i say more? But the graphics card is showing up in the Device Manager as a Xpress 200M.
What could be causing this? I downloaded the driver for the 200M and of course, it didnt work. As a matter of fact it completely crashes my system. I did an automatic driver update via Windows Device Manager and it installed "ATI Radeon Xpress Series" driver. It doesnt specifically say which graphics card the driver is for in the Xpress Series.
So what i am getting at is why did it do this? How can I tell if i have the 1150, which is what was sold to me?

ATI Radeon integrated graphics card
AMD Athlon x2 Dual Core Processor
