Perform a disk cleanup
1. Start\Computer and right click
C:
2. Select
Properties and select
Disk Cleanup
3. In the
More Options under
System Restore And Shado Copies select
CleanUp
***This will delete all backups except the latest 2,only use this if you have two good restore points created
4. Under the
Disk Cleanup tab select ALL the options and select
OK
This will free up valuable space and delete alot of temporary files that slows your system down
Reduce startup programs
1. Start\Run
2. Type
MSConfig and hit enter
3. Under the
Startup tab uncheck everything that isn't important to load
I currently only have 3, If you have any doubts about a process search for it using the
Process Library
4. Once done select Apply,Ok and close without restart
Reduce startup process's
1. Start\Control Panel\Security\Windows Defender\Tools\Software Explorer
2. The drop down menu should already be at
Startup Programs
3. Here you can see not just the programs but the process's that run at startup
4. To disable one from running select the process or program and select disable to disable the option from the startup or select remove to stop it from appearing as a startup item
5. Again if you have any doubts about a process search for it using the
Process Library
This should improve your startup time dramatically
