Pencil ram voltage?

hey guys, just wondering, my ram is rated at 2.1 v. i was looking at a motherboard that should support it on a site called virtual hideout, but the specs of the board claims the dimms are 1.8 v. or something like that.

http://www.virtual-hideout.net/revie...3P/index.shtml

(taken from the link)
Memory
4 x 1.8V DDR2 DIMM sockets supporting up to 8 GB of system memory
Dual channel memory architecture
Support for DDR2 1200 (O.C.)/1066/800/667 MHz memory modules

is that simply the stock voltage which can be increased?

im still new at stuff like that, so any expert advice would be appreciated.
