Hi Dan,

thanks 4 your help, i only have one antivirus program now: The CA Security Suite. I downloaded Spyware terminator and it found one critical object that i removed permanently.
then i downloaded PC Speeder 3 from download .com and it is a small .com file that seems to have significantly improved the PC speed.

Lastly, I would like to know if you can suggest how to remove registry errors. I downloaded 2 registry cleaning programs that only fixed 20 errors in trial. I have CCleaner which does not find many registry errors like the other programs found eg. CCleaner only fixes about 10 errors at a time while these programs found 100s of errors.
