Are you on a broadband modem?
I have a home network of five computers hooked to a wireless Linksys router. All five computers connect to the router but only one cannot connect to the internet.
I turned everything off (unplugged both the modem and router) including the laptop and waited about 15-seconds.
In this order and timing I did the following to restore internet connectivity to that laptop:
1) Plug in the modem and establish connection to the ISP's servers. I wait about 15-seconds.
2) Then you turn on your wireless router so it can recognize the modem, again another 15-seconds.
3) Finally I boot up the laptop and reconnect to the router and refresh the wifi connection.
I'm suspecting this is your problem and most probable solution. Good luck.
