Thanks for the help. I don't think that RAM is the issue. It is verified at boot and was never touched since installation. Never had a problem.

The drive cables may be at issue and I will try switching it around with another set. At this point that can't hurt. I have used several different drives.

My question is whether a bad CPU or Mobo could ever get to the point of posting past the verify DMI stage? I would think that I would get fan noise only with a bad mobo and beeps for a bad CPU. Am I off on this?
