Greetings!!!
I would like to seek help to those who know Internet DNS things.
The scenario is this:
I am working i a small company, with dsl internet connection, our isp provide us with 2mbps connection, web hosting, static ip and a multi-static ip (ip/30), we also have a registered domain name. My problem is that this domain name is registered via one-time/lifetime registration and the registrar won't let us change anything on it, any changes mean so much cost and so much hassle due to many papers that are needed by the registrar.
I want to setup an ftp server, host some web or make my server seen remotely via internet but i think i can't because of my problem, coz i can't edit my domain name config.
I am thinking of using some free dns solution like the dyndns.com, can this be possible? how does it work? how to configure it?
