Power "Outage" Broke 1 (2?) Monitor(s)

Ok, so at about noon today I was on my computer, which has 2 19" Acer LCD monitors hooked up to it, and suddenly the whole room went dark. 2 other computers, the TV/cable box, and all of the lights in the room went out. Almost instantly the power lights for everything were back on, but neither of my monitors' actual displays turned back on, although their power lights were on and/or flashing.

So about a half hour later I've decided that one works and one seems to be broken. When on (power-wise) it gives a faint "clicking" sound accompanied by a nearly nonexistant flash.. That is, only some of the pixels flash, and very very dully. They are about a quarter of the pixels in a horizontal box/line about 3/4 down the screen.

After testing the monitor on other computers etc. I decide it's broken for good. Out 200 bucks. Damn.

So I still have the other one working fine and dandy... Later I decide to take one of the spare monitors and plug it into the port that my broken one is no longer using, so I shut down the computer (correctly) and plug it in. When I turn the computer back on, the monitor that I thought was working has turned a shade of pink... !%#$. The other monitor I just plugged in seems to work fine, though. I try plugging in the pinkish monitor into another computer, works fine. Plug it back into the usual one... Pink... Switch the ports between working and pink monitor on the same computer, they persist in their same states of being working and pink.

So I have this monitor that turns pink when plugged into computer A, but not when plugged into any other computer... And other monitors plugged into the same computer don't turn pink.

I'm pissed off and totally confused...

Anyone have any ideas what might have happened?

And yes, these were on a surge protector, and nothing else in the basement, or house, was damaged in any way.

Monitors are between 1-2 years old.

TLDR; can't be summarized.

Thanks,

EDIT: I have determined that the secondary computer has no green output, it's not a pink tint... It just looks that way without green.

EDIT2: Plugging in second monitor gave first monitor green back... Still have 1 dead monitor.
