It sounds like you might have to reselect Opera as your default browser . . . can't hurt to check.
If that doesn't help, make sure that the file association for url in "File Types" is set to Opera.
If that doesn't help, have a look in your Eudora help files, and see if it has an option for selecting a default program to open urls within mail.
