As for Spyware removal, I would recommend to do a full system scan with each of "SpybotSD", "Lavasoft Adaware 2007", "A2Free" -All are free.
..but have not heard of the two you mentioned so would stay clear of them.

Try switching to Mozilla Firefox for your web browsing as it is less prone to spyware infection than Internet Explorer.
thank you for your suggestions. I do already use firefox.

what is booting in safe mode? I do that and then try and delete those remaining temp files?
