Ya that's exactly what it was. I actually figured it out about 20 minutes after I posted here but thank you for the response. It did just need some good wiggling to get it loose and off of there. Got the new heatsink and fan installed they work great. With the stock crap on the card it would idle at around 75 degress and hit 90-100 degrees (celsius) under full load....and that was with the side of my case open with a big house fan blowing into the side. Now I can have my case closed and it idles at 50 degrees and the most I've seen it hit under full load is 62 degrees. Gotta love Zalman!
