Hello everybody,
I had a problem with one of my two Raid0 hard disk. Fortunately I've maid a backup with driveimage xml on an external drive.
I then buyed two new hard disks to make a RAID1 system. (I think to work with Raid0 is highly dangerous
) I configured the raid1 with the Intel storage manager tool and then partitionned and formated the disk with the BartPE live CD. The partition was made active, of course.
I then restored all my old configuration with driveimage. Restoration ran OK but... when I want now to start my system it seems that he can't find the boot. The system stop after the RAID control a few moment and then reboot again and again.
Question: Is it possible to restore a backup made from a Raid0 system to a Raid1 system? Or is it something special to do to make the partition bootable?
