I am new to Photoshop CS2 and have been using Paint Shop Pro. What I want to do is make a selection in a photo ie round an object and then copy that as a new image and save with a transparent background. In PSP it's nice and easy. Make selection with tool so you have the scrolling marque and then cut or copy then paste as a new image. But how the heck do you do that in Photoshop? I know that PS is the greatest but it's a wotsot to learn. Can anyone help please?
