With such a variety of +12V readings, from 8V to 14V, your PSU could be contributing to the crashes and overheating CPU. Can you borrow a known-good 650W PSU to test in your computer? Yours might need replacing. <<< well sadly, i dont have anyone to borrow to... hmm...r u sure that my PSU causing the probs... ill try to reapply the paste first and see how it turns out... thx for ur tym koala

EDIT: btw.. is applying thick surface of artic silver can cause the problem? cause if im not mistaken.. my friends put slightly thick horizontal of artic silver 5 to the heatspreader.. hoping that if we put the heatsink directly, it will "splat" and covered the whole area...is this wrong n cause the heat? if so mybe we will do cleaning and reapply a thin horizontal line to it...
