Hi, I've recently accquired a new pc and am having trouble getting a connection set up for my USB modem.. The process seemed simple with my other pc (also using xp), just installed the drivers and we were away.
This time i'm having problems, when i look at the properties of the connection I've made it shows it's trying to connect as PPPoE which I'm guessing it shouldn't for a normal usb broadband modem? That appears in a drop-down box which has no other selectable options...
I'm totally confused by it and my ISPs tech support isn't an option as I'm supposed to be suspended at the moment anyway and for some reason I can still connect on my other pc and mac! Lucky me
