Quattro Pro 11, some formulas disappear [moved from ram and psu]
Have a new computer, with 2g RAM, Vista Home, but when I used my spreadsheet program, Quattro Pro 11, some of the formulas go missing. It was recommended by the experts on QP11, that this could be a RAM problem. I contacted the manufacturer of the computer, who helped me through testing the RAM with the Windows Memory Diagnostics Tool, and it came back okay.
It was suggested then that Memtest is more comprehensive and might find errors that Windows MDT will not.
I have downloaded Memtest, burned it to a CD bootable disk, changed the settings to boot from CD first, but it will not boot from the CD, bypassing the CD to start in Vista.
Vista is taking over. Does anybody know what I might be doing wrong. Maybe I don't have memtest installed correctly? Maybe there is a way to stop Vista from taking over?
Any help would be appreciated.
