Hi--can not get the desktop to appear in safe mode--I've tried a few times. I can however get onto the net from my computer now--but I don't know for how much longer. I have managed to down load SFFix and Combox. But I can't run SDFix because I can't get into safe mode to do it--but the icons are on the desktop now, and I double clicked to install it in the windows directory. I have my Mozilla page up in the monitor, but nothing else--no start tab, and no icons. Also, the start run prompt is beginning to disappear when the desktop reloads--which it does about every four or five secs--sometimes quicker. If you can cut and paste the Hijackthis link into your next message, I may be able to download it quickly when I restart the computer--which I'm doing whenever I need to do anything--because everything just disappears after about two mins.
