Had battery out for 2 hours or so, and changed the CMOS jumper settings to 2/3 and back to 1/2.

When I turned it on, it froze at Detecting IDE drives again. I went into the BIOS and Set BIOS defaults, fixing the floppy start up options since I don't have a floppy drive.

Now, I turn it on, and the computer does a long beep, waits 5 seconds, and beeps again, repeat.

Should I take out the battery again?
