Good morning. I am not too familiar with video compression techniques, so I am having some trouble figuring out which one would be best for my application.

Essentially, 35% to 60% of the video in the different cameras are "still" (such as the outer wall of a building), while the "background" occasionally changes.

In this case, what is the best compression algorithm to use (mpeg2, wavelet, etc), if bandwidth is an issue? Also, what is the best compression overall?
