As for the logs, I see no specfic warnings about shut downs at all. Perhaps it's so sudden there is no chance for it to log one?

I understand wanting to fill in the details. It just helps if you can condense it.
No problem though, I'm just trying to offer advice.
The logs wouldn't tell you anything about a shutdown. But depending on
the error, it might let you know where a conflict of resources is.
