Hi M -

Check he emails - it is the elusive G: device (?) and related software that has the ability to crash your system because it is not compatable with Vista. Their most recent update for it <2 months ago was for Systems up to and including XP - but not for Vista.

It has the French version Microsoft driver c:\windows\system32\drivers\cdrom.sys, 6.00.6001.18000, 1/18/2008 22:49:52, 67072 bytes, installed for it, but it is a virtual drive, so when systems services come through to check-it-out - they can't find it. The BSODs on this came back as "Device not found".
