Mistake Hard Drive in Car

ok. i got a USB input on my car cd player that'll read flash drives with mp3's just fine. I bought a 50 gig WD MyBook and loaded it with about 10,000 mp3's. My cd player can't read it. I got a power inverter, so that's not the problem. I did some research and read that I can fix the problem by converting my HD from NTFS to FAT32. I'm clueless about this. I did more research and have found no way to do this. PLEASE HELP! I am running Vista 64-bit. Thanks!
