[SOLVED] Problematic Partitions
Hey, to start off, this is the HDD I have Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 ST3250410AS 250GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive.
After putting this system together I installed a copy of Windows XP Home SP1. While I was installing it it asked me if I wanted to create a partition, I thought this partition was going to be seperate for the Windows install (I chose 10GB). Instead I ended up with 10GB of HDD space, which is laughable; I know I can set up a new partition with the rest of the space, which I already have (E:), DVD drive is set to D.
My question is, is it possible to reconstruct my HDD to just have it as one big partition, rather as a small one and a large one. My reason for asking is because some programs assume a root in C: which is turning out to be quite problematic, I know there are ways around it but I want to see if I can fix this up.
Thanks in advance,
Dave
