Confused cloned larger HD --> smaller HD :(

Hi, interesting problem

I cloned a 160gb drive onto a 80gb hd but the 160gb was only using 35gb. I figured the cloning software would account for the different partition sizes and do all the dirty work but now Win XP shows my C: partition as a 160gb despite residing on a 80gb hd

i'm not sure if i should be doing a MBR repair, a partition repair, or just a windows repair. I have the ultimate boot cd and all of the partition tools on the CD don't seem to plain "repair" partitions. They can recover them and browse them plenty of other tricks.

anyone have a solution especially one involving a freeware utility? I'm afraid I might be doing this clone over again (pain in the ..).

The software I used for the clone btw was ****** Disk Copy 2.0

GL HF!
