Re: Can it be my Hard drive that's not letting my comp boot up?
Lol blah i ordered it because i dont know anyone who could lend me a 450 watt psu.
But anyways, while im waiting for it, ive done some investigation and my old PSU only has 15 amps on the 12v rail!! no wonder. And on sapphire's forums it says like 20-25 amps are needed to power the x1650PRO 512mb video card.
They also said that having an underpowered PSU might damage the motherboard. So, if this new PSU that i get from newegg does not boot up my computer, it's bascially my mistake for underpowering my computer with the wrong AMP Power supply and thus damaging my MOBO.
So when i get my new power supply from new egg, i'll post back on the forums for the results.
