XP RAID Install Problem

I recently reformatted my two SATA drives and put them together in a striped RAID. Now, when attempting to reinstall XP on the volume I am allowed to search for drivers from my floppy without a problem, but after that when attempting to proceed I run into an error. For some reason, no matter which RAID drivers I am using for the RAID controller or mobo, XP does not detect the RAID and will not install.

I have read through the documentation provided with the motherboard, gone through multiple forums, and checked out the support on the manufacturer's website to no avail.

Has anyone else run into this problem before and/or does anyone have a solution to this problem? Hardware specs available once I get home to get the exact model.
