Question Vista does not recognize non-raid disk next to raid disks

Hi All,

I recently added a third hard disk to my system but Vista does not recognize this non-raid disk next to two raid disks.

Details are below.

Can anyone help me with this please? My harddisks are almost full!

Details:
Since a few months I have a system with the following (relevant) hardware:

motherboard: Gigabyte P35-DS4 with RAID controller ICH9R
OS: Windows Vista Basic
HDD: three Western Digital Caviar 16SE 500GB of which two are in RAID1
All harddisks are connected to the RAID controller via SATA, as the two non-raid SATA connectors on the mobo are used for the external ESATA connections.

I had two WD HDD's set up as RAID1 when I installed Vista Basic. Just worked perfect. But now my Harddisks are almost full. So I thought I add a third disk to store all my downloads on. This third disk can be non-raid.

I installed the third disk and the RAID BIOS nicely shows this third HDD as non-raid. However in Windows Vista I still only see only one harddisk, the C-drive (the RAID disks) but Vista does not recognize the non-raid disk.

Can anyone help me please?
Many thanks in advance!
