New Person Looking for Advice
Hello all,
First of all I am new to the site so hello to everyone and I hope I am not too much of a pest over the next few months.
This is a bit of a strange request! I have just handed in my notice in my current job as an IT Service Desk Analyst to start work as a Desktop Engineer within the same company (Although it will be a different office etc)
My current role involved project work and on-boarding/training new agents to our desk through a 4 week training plan I devised.
I have previous experience in working within a Desktop Support environment however; this was about 5 years ago.
I am going to be supporting around 120 users on NT4 Operating System. I will be the only Desktop Support onsite (I will have colleagues down in another part of the country)
I just want to know if anyone has any advice on how to approach this. I am terrible nervous as I will be on my own and want to use my 4 weeks notice to ensure I am prepared as possible
Any advice what so ever would be very much appreciated!
