There are but they may not solve the problem - they will only allow you to connect a usb device into a firewire port (or vice versa). They don't change the way the information is transferred which is more your problem.
You may find there are settings within your Dazzle interface that allow you to control speed vs quality of capture - if so try slowing your capture speed and lean towards higher quality.
Sorry - I am not familiar with the Dazzle unit's workings so I can only make suggestions - maybe someone who has used Dazzle can come on board?
