If you have to keep reseting the clock every time you start it up (and on an older PC) you probably just need to replace the cmos battery. cmos battery is on the mobo, looks like a watch battery, pull it out and take it to a store to match it to a new one. you'll have to set all the info again with the new battery, but after the first time it should remember it as long as the mobo/bios is ok.

If that doesn't work, then I would update your BIOS to a newer version, you'd need to go your computer manfactuers website (if its a brand PC i.e..HP, dell, compaq for example) or if it was peiced together by you or a friend, go to the mobo manufactuers website to download the bios update.
