Have you installed the AMD Dual Core Optimizer? This is to correct timing problems with dual core AMD CPUs. It might not be relevant to this problem, but it's advisable to install anyway.
I tried that, didn't help much if at all

I looked into the dual core optimizer but apparently it isn't available for vista yet

So anyways is my computer lacking in processing power or RAM (it seems like if i let the video run a few times and cache, it runs a little bit better)? I might build a new comp soon for watching nice videos and starcraft 2 and want to make sure this doesn't happen
