Let's try this another way. If it works, it is easier.

Go to the system control panel
Hardware tab and device manager button
now click the plus next to keyboards
double click on the microsoft keyboard
Driver tab
Click on the roll back driver
It may ask something like "are you sure"
say yes
reboot and see if this helps
