First let me thank you for replying. There is no change in the laptop's behavior. It still won't boot up. I got the power button and F12 procedure from a thread that I read earlier this week. The only time I can get any thing to run on the laptop (fan, DVD rom) is when I press the power button and F12, but still no display or error indicators (beeps or sounds).
