by the way, run some tests on your RAM too. d/load Memtest86+ (link on my sig. below) and burn the image to CD. boot from that CD to run the diags. give it a good 2 to 3 runs (around 3 hours total) just to be sure it is not the RAM that malfunctions during startup.
