If the printer is printing NOTHING, then it's doubtful that the problem is in the nozzles themselves.
There is NO cleaning method that I'm aware of.
That sounds more like a logic problem.

When I was in the field service center, I replaced many print heads, but I also replaced quite a few logic boards.

Buying a new printer from Epson's Web-Store would probably be your cheapest route. I just bought a refurbished scanner for $79 that would have cost me way over $100 from any other source.
I once got a CX3200 for $69.
I'm still using it, and, I refill the ink carts myself.
