Norton can be a real resource hog and slow almost any machine down. To clean the temp files, click on
Start . .
Programs . .
Accessories . .
System Tools . .
Disc Cleanup Run it weekly to stay lean.
You can also look in the msconfig startup list to see what can be disabled ( most of it actually )
Start . .
Run . . type
msconfig . . click on the
Start Up tab Uncheck anything you do not need to run all the time
