Please read the replies carefully. We're saying that a PSU with less than 26 amps on the +12V line WILL NOT power a PCIE graphics card. It will cause your computer to overheat and 3D fullscreen games will not run. The CPU is irrelevant.

Your old power supply would be ok for an AGP graphics card, but not PCIE.
